The rate for an interim placement will depend on a number of factors. This includes:

The state of the market (The supply of available Interims versus demand)
The size and reputation of the company
Any risks attached to the role
How much the particular skill set required is available

We obviously are guided by our interims on the daily rate they wish to achieve for their interim placement. It is worth considering, however, that other factors may influence the final rate you choose to agree. This includes:

Your interest in the company/sector and the interim placement
Your ability to compete with other candidates of the same level/experience
The value the interim placement will add value to your CV in terms of the role or sector
The convenience of the interim placement in terms of location or duration
